Welcome to the International Congress of World Wonders. The mission is to unite the world in celebration and protection of the world’s historical, natural and man-made wonders.
The ICWW seeks to inspire and develop conservation of the world’s wonders through leadership, education, and partnerships.
World Wonders are determined by votes from the International Congress with new wonders being added every year. It is impossible to limit this world and the achievements of mankind to only 7 wonders.
There are two voting bodies supporting the work of the ICWW. The primary voting body is the International Congress comprised of experts from conservation, museum, science, travel, and media fields.
The second voting body is the global public. This voting is used first as a voice to influence the voting of congress members. Second, the public vote may be used to break ties or create a distinction between wonder candidates.
Congress and Public Voting
The International Congress of World Wonders is the determining voice for
declarations of World Wonder status.
